About
The 16th International Gas and Energy Forum focuses on aligning the energy matrix of Latin America and the Caribbean with global decarbonization goals. This transition aims to boost the economy and primarily benefit economically vulnerable countries by harnessing the most accessible and efficient energy sources, including natural gas, hydroelectric power, solar, wind, and green hydrogen, and participating in the growing demand for critical raw materials for the transition. This requires robust regulatory frameworks, public incentives, and active participation from the private sector to expedite the shift toward a cleaner and more sustainable future.
